Its been awhile I know....

Ok so I am not real good at this blog thing just yet. But I have been very busy knitting away. You all would be proud!!! Christmas is only about 14 weeks away!!!!! AAAAAAAAAArrrrgh! I have some really nice ideas for some co-workers of mine. I wish I had some pictures to show you, however my 16 yr old daughter has not gotten around to showing me how to "blog" properly. Hopefully very soon though! Words cannot do justice! I have finished up the potatochip scarf from www.knitpicks.com I used sport weight lionbrand Wool Ease in White Frost and I must say am very satisfied with the whole outcome, it will look killer with a nice jean jacket! I can hardly wait for it to get (dare I say it????)chilly!!!! I have also finished up a felted tote for Amanda from the book Pursenalities (mediorce applause) I wasn't to happy with the shaping of it and am thinking of running it through another felting process. I have started the Branching out scarf from http://knitty.com/ISSUEspring05/PATTbranchingout.html by Susan Pierce Lawrence in a lovely light green and am thinking it would make a nice christmas gift for someone that would appreciate the sweat and tears that I have put into it. Susan states that it is a "fairly simple pattern" and this being my very first venture into lace knitting, I would have to agree. I do however have trouble reading from the chart as she also suggests. When I do work on the scarf I have to have complete silence so that I can count my rows. Oh and i just finished a poncho which I will actually wear!!!! Whew! all this and the new season of NIP TUCK has started (finally) Well hopefully I can coax or bribe my daughter to help me personalize this blog and get some pics up!
